ABOUT ME - MARK ZUREK - PHOTOGRAPHER
You want to know about me? Well, my photographs should tell you most of
what you need to know.
I seem to have an innate ability to "disappear." My wife says that it is
triggered by the length of the household
"to do" list. I don't know. What I do know is that it has served me
well and allows me to "meld" into a scene and photograph it without disturbing
it. This has become an essential part of my style of candid photography.
My love of photography borders on the neurotic. It is what I do, and what
I think about whenever I have a free moment (which is never as often as I would
like). While not formally trained, I have been shooting for more years
than I care to remember, and have absorbed every class, book and magazine I
could get my hands on.
I believe in the "tried and true" adage of shoot-shoot-shoot. I photograph
a lot and almost always have one camera or another with me.
I feel that my style and capabilities are constantly growing and changing, and
that is what keeps the adrenaline flowing for me. I hope you enjoy looking
